Do you think Christ was self proclaimed ?
What makes him so special when there were many people like him that came
and went ?
Buddha, Guru Nanak, Mahavir, Sai Baba - just to name a few.
Jesus never proclaimed himself to be the Son of God. In fact, not many people knew about him until the Roman Emperor Constantine was introduced to Christianity by his mother.
Prior to this, Christians were a bunch of people who were always getting into trouble wherever they went and some were even persecuted and killed.
Apparently, nothing much has changed throughout history, just all this travelling around the globe has made them more cunning and conniving!
